During the 98th Academy Awards, Shaboozey appeared on stage wearing the The Visalia Buckle by Vogt Silversmiths, paired with our Black Floral Belt.
The moment came during a live musical tribute from the film Sinners, which recreated one of the movie’s most memorable sequences with a performance of the nominated song “I Lied to You.”
The ensemble performance brought together musicians led by Miles Caton and Raphael Saadiq alongside an all-star group of performers including Misty Copeland, Buddy Guy, Brittany Howard, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Jayme Lawson, Li Jun Li, Bobby Rush, Alice Smith, and Shaboozey.

We had previously gifted the buckle to him several months earlier, and it was exciting to see the piece appear during such a memorable moment of the ceremony.
The Visalia Buckle
